1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Steal AI desktop application ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service and Intended Use

Steal AI is a macOS desktop application that provides AI-powered screen analysis and response generation. The Software captures screen content at the user's direction and processes it through third-party AI model providers to generate text responses displayed in an overlay window.

The Software is designed and intended for educational purposes, including but not limited to:

• Practicing and reviewing coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank) in a self-study environment
• Learning algorithms, data structures, and system design concepts
• Preparing for technical interviews through mock practice sessions
• Understanding solution approaches and improving problem-solving skills

The Software is not intended for use during actual graded examinations, proctored assessments, or in any context where the use of external AI assistance is prohibited. Steal AI is a study and review tool — not a cheating tool.

3. User Responsibility and Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for how you use the Software. By using the Software, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will use the Software only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended educational use.
• You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party agreements (including but not limited to employer policies, platform terms of service, and examination rules) in your jurisdiction.
• You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Software is permitted in any given context.
• Steal AI does not encourage, endorse, or condone the use of the Software for academic dishonesty, fraud, violation of employment agreements, or any unlawful purpose.
• You will not use the Software in any manner that violates the rights of others or that could expose Steal AI to legal liability.

4. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Steal AI does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that AI-generated responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STEAL AI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, JOB OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Software;
• Any conduct or content of any third party in connection with the Software;
• Any content obtained from the Software, including AI-generated responses;
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data or transmissions;
• Any consequences arising from your decision to use the Software in any particular context, including but not limited to interviews, examinations, or professional settings.

In no event shall Steal AI's total liability exceed the amount you paid to Steal AI in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Software require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor (LemonSqueezy). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Steal AI. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Software except for a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software in accordance with these Terms.

8. Account Termination

Steal AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Software will immediately cease.

9. Third-Party Services

The Software relies on third-party AI model providers and cloud infrastructure. Steal AI is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of the Software may also be subject to the terms of these third-party providers.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Modifications to Terms

Steal AI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
